Hello all!
During the latest patch upgrade (9.0.0 P16) we lost our admin console access. The patch notes said, that 2-factor auth is available on the web admin page, but we just simple don't need it, and with an error we are not able to login. Error says: "Server error encountered (two-factor authentication setup is required)". Is there a way from command line to disable it on the admin page? Or how can we login?
Thank you for your support in advance,
Zoli
Zimbra admin console 2-factor auth after upgrade
Re: Zimbra admin console 2-factor auth after upgrade
This is a nasty bug which hit us in this release.
You can bypass it by using the admin@ account.
This issue only happens on delegated admin (as far as we know).
You can disable 2FA for any accounts which have this issue with:
zmprov ma (email)@(domain).com zimbraFeatureTwoFactorAuthAvailable FALSE
zmprov ma (email)@(domain).com zimbraFeatureTwoFactorAuthRequired FALSE
