I am trying to find information on sieve filtering to reject emails with personal information, specifically something like social security numbers and am not finding enough info to understand. Most of the documentation that I see starts with require but I also see examples that don't. I don't enough information to tie it all together and I can't even tell if I am looking at pseudo code in some examples or full fledged code.
Are there any full tutorials or courses that give a much more detailed intro and training of the sieve filters?

In this case you may want to use a Milter https://github.com/Zimbra/custom-milter instead.
