ISP requires login and password on Relay host

I have been trying to configure the zimbra mta to use my ISP's relay MTA. The requirement is that there is a username and pass login. How do I configure the Zimbra mta to pass those credentials to my ISP's MTA. Temporarily I have enabled DNS lookup..which suffices.. But this puts extra load on a feable server..
