I have the same question. "Is it possible to specify more than one host IP address in the 'Global Settings -> MTA -> Inbound SMTP Host Name' field?, and if so, HOW? "

This is such a common situation that I'm surprised Googling doesn't show many results.

Am I missing something obvious? I must be...

Check this post, then come back and explain _why_ you are trying to do what you are trying to do.

Not, "because I want/need to", but what actually does not work if you don't achieve what you are trying to do, because in the 10 years I've had Zimbra behind load-balanced front end smtp hosts I have had *nothing* in that option and the system happily processes inbound mail.

This thread is full of "I need to do this", with exactly *zero* reasons as to *why* you "need to do this". Just lots of random pontification about needing to do it.
