How do I recover a shared calendar that has been deleted - by accident - of course!

I would think that a point-in-time restore to a new account would be of use. Then re-importing the calendar into the production account, if I'm understanding you correctly. I am unaware of a way to pull out just calendar items. See: Restore Procedures
