Not yet. I remember a few presentations that expalined that this is a 3 step process.

1 step was to decouple the aplications from the actual information and changing database from MySQL to MariaDB.

Next moves are announced for version 9 but I guess we will have to wait even one more "step" from there.

We're in active development for Always On phase 2 which is targeted for v9.0. For v8.5 we were setting the stage - so to speak - to prepare for the bigger architecture changes.

I also would like some more information on "Always On". Are there any whitepapers or architecture info. available so the customer can understand what issues Always On will address? Also any deployment guides would be helpful as well. Minus a couple of random Zimbra Blog posts there have been very little details or architecture discussions I have seen on this project. Thanks!

Hi Travis,

I will work on that and for sure we will post some new info soon. For now all the Whitepapers or Architecture info are for Internal use, let me ask to the team if we can share something new.

I will return here with more info.
