BugĀ 93620 - Reinstate voice extensions and zimlets removed from 8.5.0 GA

Since 8.5.0, the Integration of Cisco-Mittel UCS Voice has been broken. This was highly touted in the release 8.0 and is now not available. It is still not fixed in Zimbra 8.6.
We are a paying, licensed user of 200 Zimbra Network Edition licenses and my company, for one, and others who have been using the Voice Integration of Zimbra, are quite disappointed. We will not be upgrading to 8.5 or beyond until this functionality is restored.
Please vote for this bug! As of this writing there are only 8 votes. There must be more Zimbra Voice users out there!

Thanks!
Gary

Keep tuned to the bug.

Best regards

I voted for this when I found out about it as well. We were using it in a limited rollout in 8.0 and had to decided to delay giving it to more users until we know what was happening with it. We updated to 8.6 and the few users that did have access were all disappointed that they couldn't manage their voice mail through zimbra anymore (including the person who supports the mitel servers).

I've you're at least slightly concerned about security - kick out the cisco stuff.

Care to expound on your reasons for leaving such a reply? Your painting with a pretty wide brush there.

Because security actually matters to me.
