Hello,
i searched for two days (and two nights ) but i could not solve this problem.
I configured mydomain.com
My smtp is not an open relay and it asks for authentication to send mail outside.
If you try to telnet the server and try to use a non existent address @mydomain.com to send to my domain you cannot
but if you know an existent address inside mydomain.com you are able to send mail inside mydomain.com with no authentication.
I would like to solve this and ask for authentication in this case too.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

hey i am using ZCS 8.6ldelana77 wrote:Solution here : https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Enforcing_ ... ername_8.5
i implemented this enforce from and sasl username, Its working partially. Problem is when i telnet my mail server from outside with my public ip existing user can send mail to existing user with out authentication. It should give an error like sender not logined, But help me why my server is not asking for authetication, after i followed this link.
