Users on External network, like the Internet, cannot send mail using Outlook Connector. Mail, calendar etc is synchronized from the server, but the users cannot send mail from External network. It works on internal networks.
Is there a setting anywhere to specify this?
I believe that mail is not sent via SMTP from Outlook Connector since it is a MAPI-connection like type over https?

Hello,
Do you have some error on mailbox.log, or zimbra.log? Also if you are using ZCO, I guess you have Zimbra Support? Maybe it will worth to open a ticket, as the Engineers there are really quick fixing issues.
Best regards
