Hi Team. Thanks your your attention
I have a problem several days ago, my zimbra services are not working. I have Zimbra 8.6 and the error that i rceived when I try to restart the services is:
zmcontrol start
Host zcs.xxxx
Starting ldap...Done.
Search error: Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Unable to determine enabled services. Cache is out of date or doesn't exist.
I have read several posts about it but none resolv my problem.
Please i hope your comments.
Error with services
Re: Error with services
The information you've posted doesn't really tell us much other than the service won't start. As you say you've tried the other solutions and they don't work, how about telling us what you've tried and what were the results and post the output that's usually requested in those other threads.
Re: Error with services
Is that what you know or what you think is the problem and why did you not mention this in your first post? If you think there's a problem with the LDAP DB then look in the log files while you're trying to restart Zimbra and see what happens. If the DB is corrupt then have a look at some of the forum threads on the subject or perhaps this blog: https://blog.sajjan.com.np/2016/03/06/zimbra-recovery/ - I'm also guessing you don't have a recent backup of your server?cfreire wrote:Mainly the steps above. Re: Error with services
Hi friend. Thanks for your reply
I have tried with the followings steps:
***********************************************
1) chown -R zimbra:zimbra /opt/zimbra
2) /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms -verbose
su zimbra
zmcontrol start
*******************************************************
NO solved
*********************************************************************************
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr createca -new
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr createcrt -new -days 1095
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr deploycrt self
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr deployca
****************************************************************************
No solved
Mainly the steps above. But my problem persists. What i know is what ldap db could be corrupt.
Is there more steps what I could do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.
