Hello,
I'm running Zimbra ZCS 8.7 and we just migrated over from our old Exchange. On Exchange, when sending outbound email, the headers read that we were sending from mail.mydomain.com (what our MX record shows). But now that we are sending from Zimbra, the headers are showing our server address zm.mydomain.com. Hw do I fix this?

Hello,
You can change the zimbraMtaMyHostname parameter:
zmprov ms `zmhostname` zimbraMtaMyHostname mail.mydomain.com
Kind regards.

Wouldn't that change the name of my server? I'm not sure what other issues might be caused by me doing that.

Hello, this change would only modify the "myhostname" value. I mean, it will change only the hostname used to identify your MTA server in sent emails.patrickwilson82 wrote:Wouldn't that change the name of my server? I'm not sure what other issues might be caused by me doing that.
