certbot-zimbra 0.4 released

Post by maxxer »

The big change in this release is the ability to request a certificate for multiple domains.

That is, if your Zimbra installation has mail.domain.com and mail.domain.it you can request a certificate which is valid for both hostnames

By default when a new certificate is requested it will use:
* zmhostname command;
* zimbraServicePublicHostname parameter for each configured domain;
to collect host names, and will request a certificate for all of them. Note: this is not yet SNI implementation.

Feedback is welcome

As it's named "certbot-zimbra" and it's been announced on the Zimbra forums I'd guess it's for ™Zimbra, wouldn't you. ;)

Yes, not official but yes. It's a custom script for automatically request a LE certificate and deploy it in Zimbra, automatically handling renews. You can get more info at the GitHub page

Hi Maxxer,
I do not see which are zimbra versions supported by this certbot-zimbra 4.0. I have just tested on Zimbra NE (trial) 8.8.9 but failed.
Regards.
