Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
Hi,
Nothing special unless you need multi domain certificates. Just "zmprov cd nameofdomain" from CLI or go to the admin webui and clic your way through the wizards.
Then you should see all the configurations you can adjust in the web admin UI and try to adjust them...but even if you do not adjust those parameters, the domain is created and functional.

Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
Is the mx record for that domain in public dns severs configured?
Are you able to receive mails for other domains?
Are you able to receive mails for other domains?
Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
Hi,
Yes the mx record for that domain is already configured as follows.
Type Name Value
mx mail.seconddomain.com mail.firstdomain.com
Is this setup correct?
Yes, I am able to receive mails from internal zimbra domain.
Thanks for the reply.

Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
That doesn't tell us much, you're going to have to give a bit more detail than that. Go to the Split DNS wiki article and run the relevant dig commands, as shown in the 'Verify....' section of the article, for all your domains then post the output here.
Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
Hi,
This is what I get when I ran the command, dig mail.seconddomain.com

Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
First of all, you didn't include any MX record info in there as described in the wiki article. Second, in this context, "mail.seconddomain.com" is not a domain it's a hostname. You need valid DNS MX & A records for each of the domains you you host i.e. 'domain1.com' (the primary domain on the ZCS server) then domain2.com, domain3.com etc., etc..... As I've mentioned already, each of those needs their own DNS MX & A records on an external DNS server. Are you running behind a NAT router or firewall?
Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
Hi,
Will do that and post the results afterwards.
Yes I am running behind a firewall.
Thanks,
D

Re: setup multiple domain on a single server
In that case you may also need a Split DNS configured to ensure that ZCS gets it's mail delivered correctly or have you already done that?dl.perez wrote:Yes I am running behind a firewall.
