Hi

I have been struggling with the following issue on my Zimbra Zimbra Proxy issue on Release 8.8.10_ installation.

The error I'm getting is *293 peer closed connection in SSL handshake (111: Connection refused) while SSL handshaking to upstream, client: x.x.x.x:43166, server: 0.0.0.0:993, login: "user", upstream: x.x.x.x:7993 (x.x.x.x:43166->x.x.x.x:993) <=> (x.x.x.x:35332->)

Network problem, maybe FireWall.

Hi thanks for your response. Should the upstream server have this 127.0.0.1:7993 IP address or should it be the mail servers IP address?

If you have a Zimbra Proxy Server + Zimbra Mailstore Server , the upstream must be the hostname/IP of the mailstore plus its associated port.
