Migration from 8.6 to 8.8 in Red Hat 6.6

Post by Marcosebas »

Dear All,

I have a ZCS with this version: Release 8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL6_64_20141215151155 RHEL6_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.6.0_P14. I would like to do the migration to the last version of ZCS. Please, any one could help me with a guide on how to do this process with out losing any information or mails stored. I have a multiserver installation (Mailbox, LDAP, MTA).

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Marco

Hi, since you have Zimbra Open Source edition, follow this wiki: https://wiki.zextras.com/wiki/ZeXtras_M ... Tool_Guide

I don't have a license of Zextras. Can I do this process with the trial license and then remove Zextras?

Yes, you can remove Zextras trial after importing the backup. The migration process is free.
