Hi everyone

I have set up the latest zimbra build "Release 8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL7_64_20141215151110 RHEL7_64 FOSS edition" and was able to send and recieve from domains such as gmail, yahoo and others.

I am planning to migrate our existing server to this one which uses, domain.co.uk so to test a new server, i made another which has his own MX record as well pointing on a different server using sample.domain.co.uk

I can recieve from domain.co.uk but i cannot send from sample.domain.co.uk to domain.co.uk

Code: Select all

On mailq, i receive the following error

230F442BE311 5566 Wed Jun 26 09:13:48 narutouzumaki@sample.domain.co.uk
         (connect to consumercloud.co.uk[192.168.0.20]:25: Connection refused)
                                         itgroup@domain.co.uk

Code: Select all

On tail -f /var/log/maillog

Jun 26 09:39:17 zimbramailone postfix/smtp[15510]: 230F442BE311: to=<itgroup@domain.co.uk>, relay=none, delay=1529, delays=1529/0.08/0/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to domain.co.uk[192.168.0.21]:25: Connection refused)
I have also read other post relating to this but currently stuck. Thank you

That isn't the latest ZCS build, ZCS 8.8.12 is the most recent and I'd suggest you use that.

If a connection is refused then you might have a problem with your hosts file, we can start by looking at the full contents of that file.

Hi

Apologies, I have solve this problem and it turned out i need to remove some entries on the resolv.conf, On regards on the build. This is confusing as all this time i thought i was installing the latest.

Should i open another topic on how to upgrade or can you like me on how to?

Thank you

I'm glad you've fixed it. As for the upgrade all you need to do is run the installer from the version of ZCS to which you wish to upgrade. There is a caveat (or two) to that, take a backup before you make any changes to the server and before that you should read (in detail) the Release Notes and Upgrade Instructions to make sure nothing in the upgrade will bite you: https://www.zimbra.com/documentation/
