How to Send local account to external mail gateway

How to send zimbra local account to external email gateway for spam filter.
I'm try command "zmprov ma admin@test.com zimbraMailTransport smtp:<ip mail gateway>:25" and mail gateway point domain test.com to zimbra ip and log mail gateway show 554 5.4.0 Error: too many hops. please help, thank you.

Are you talking about incoming or outgoing mail? Because for incoming, you just need to point the MX DNS record to the spam filter.

For outgoing it seems that your zmprov command is correct, but from what you describe you then point the spam gateway to zimbra again, which of course will create a loop: Zimbra -> Spam gateway -> Zimbra etc.
