Calendar Error After update 8.8.15 Patch1

After upgrade Zimbra 8.8.12 to 8.8.15 Patch1 i receive this error:

"We Area unable to identify the time zone in your area, please choose the time zone from list"

zmcontrol -v
Release 8.8.15_GA_3829.RHEL7_64_20190718141144 RHEL7_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.8.15_P1.


I already checked the file /opt/zimbra/conf/timezones.ics and already tried to update tzdb.dat using tzupdater.jar. But I still have the mistake. My Time Zone is America / Sao_Paulo.

zmprov gd kaiani.com.br | grep TimeZone
zimbraPrefTimeZoneId: America/Sao_Paulo

Update Ticket: I did some more testing and found that the problem is related to the client machine's time zone and server, and only occurs in Chrome. I've tested other windows machines with chrome that never accessed the server and the problem also occurs, so I discarded being browser cache

I didn't find a definitive solution, but I found a temporary solution. Installing the Chrome extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... pokmncimpj I was able to work around the issue.

Hi @danielmjmarques, I am having the same situation here, but in Zimbra 8.8.12 version. Maybe it isn't something related with 8.8.15. Thanks for your workaround. I'll definitly test it.

The problem also happens in Firefox. Any solution?
