Hello,

My Zimbra sometimes hangs and need to be restarted to recover service.

RAM and CPU are not 100% when problem occurs.

What I see is "concurrent mode failure" lines in /opt/zimbra/log/zmmailboxd.out like this one :

(concurrent mode failure): 943100K->943104K(943104K), 2.7525200 secs] 1226037K->1066163K(1226048K), [CMS Perm : 115675K->115675K(200204K)], 2.7530060 secs] [Times: user=3.26 sys=0.00, real=2.75 secs]

I didn't find solution for this. Can someone help me please ?

Zimbra version is 8.0.6

Server is a VM (ESXi 6.0.0) with 8 CPU/48GB RAM.
/opt is on VMWARE disk (ext4)
Volumes (index and store) are iscsi target (ext4)

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Your zimbra version is quite old. Please upgrade to the latest version. Have a look at this alert: https://blog.zimbra.com/2019/05/9826/

Minh.

I know this but for any reasons I don't want to upgrade now. And this can be worst upgrading an unstable zimbra.

Hi, it's better to migrate your zimbra to a new system, not doing in place upgrade. You can search the wiki for howto.
