We are experiencing an issue with calendars. When a user creates an appointment and invites another user the recipient receives the invitation and, before accepting or refusing, sees the appointment at the correct date and time.
When the recipient accepts or decline the invitation, the appointment changes to the current date and time.
Only the recipient experience this issue, the sender sees the original appointment at the correct date and time.
We found that this issue is strictly related to the mobile use, and more specifically to iphone users.
This issue comes up on Ubuntu16 - ZCS 8.8.15 Patch 10 - NG modules version is the latest, 6.0.11.1590047380-1.u16
These are the actions taken:
- user creator@mydomain.com creates an appointment TEST1 via webmail with a specific date and time and invites invited@mydomain.com
- invited@mydomain.com accepts or decline the invitation, via webmail
- the appointment TEST1 on invited@mydomain.com's calendar is changed to acceptation time and date
On mailbox.log we saw this for the first operation:

The mobile module seems to intervene once accepted modifiyng explicitly the event.
We tried with several users, and found that only iphone users have this problem. Android users are fine.

Hi gabrieles,
do you have any update on this issue? We are experiencing the exact same behavior. Only solution so far: deactivate calendar sync on iPhone.

Hi
What Zimbra version are you runniong ? (zmcontrol -v)
According to Zimbra support this is due to bug ZBUG-1630
Using bug lookup from the support portal :
ZCS 8.8.15 P10 and iPhone, Instead of actual schedule, appointment creating on attendees calendar on the date when he/she accepted invitation.
Version fixed is Joule-8.8.15-Patch-11, but we are experiencing the problem in Patch 12 too.
Bye
Lorenzo

Hi all,
same here with Zimbra Version 8.8.15_P14. This bug does not seem to be resolved or it is a regression... I opened a support call...
Regards
Thomas
