Letsencrypt root certificate expiring on Sept 30th

Post by rtkluttz »

Is there any guidance on what needs to be done to get on the new letsencrypt root cert? I used the manual method of running certbot and I do this ever 90 days, but it appears that my cert chain is still including the one that is going away. I don't want to be caught out when this expires.

In addition to my servers certs, I show, R3 and DST Root CA X3. Is there any tutorial for how to update the root cert? The server registration process requires us to add that in the chian.pem, but not sure how to proceed. I'm also going to open a ticket with support on it.
