zmmailboxdctl is not started

Postby aynur.yilmaz » Fri May 13, 2022 6:08 am

Hello everyone,

We installed a new mail server but we could not run the mailbox service.

I tried to start the zmmailboxdctl service but it didn't start. (zmmailboxdctl restart)

Users can't access their e-mails and can't log in from the web panel.

I am waiting for your solutions. Thanks.

Why did your original post say this was a Carbonio server? You should always post the full output of the following command:

Code: Select all

zmcontrol -v

This is not Zimbra, this is Carbonio.
You should post here: https://community.zextras.com/forum/

When you're asked a question, please answer it if you want support. As Klug said, this is a Carbonio server and nothing to do with these forums, please go to the Carbonio forum with your question.

Similar commands work in Carbonio as well. Would you mind suggesting a solution? This is a very urgent situation. :(

Post on the zextras forum and wait for support. (I see you already have).

Here's what Zextras say about Carbonio : "I want to clarify CarbonioCE is not intended as a fork. We are creating a new system using just some of the Zimbra GLP components that we are treating as the other 3rd part components in the project, while the vast majority of the code is Zextras'." (https://community.zextras.com/forum/postid/2739/)

On that basis nobody here really knows how it works. It might work the same as Zimbra, and it might not.
