Our Outlook users are reporting missing inline body content when receiving replies from our Zimbra 8.8.11 users. Unfortunately this issue is completely inconsistent and doesn't replicate on demand however we're seeing several daily across all communications. The reply emails don't seem to have a standard (they may include just text of all sizes or inline spreadsheets) but the consistent factor is the replies are created with HTML. In most cases our Outlook users will just request a re-send and the issue resolves itself however I'm looking for a more permanent fix without end-user self medication.
Things of note:
- Outlook users are utilizing O365
Zimbra users are using 8.8.11
HTML signatures from Zimbra come through to Outlook but the text body is empty
The first two lines of text are readable through the preview lines in outlook but the inline text is empty
OWA sees the body without issue
IOS sees the body without issue
If we change the outlook application to view messages in Plain Text vs HTML in Trust Settings, the content of the body is there and readable
This feels like a bug but has anyone experienced a similar issue and found a resolution? Thank you in advance!
