Out of office issues

Hi aill, I have seen a few posts about this. None same to match my symptoms.
We have a user set up with an out of office reply. When You mail from an internal account. They get the out of office reply.
when you mail from an external account the out of office is not sent..
the log shows: outofoffice not sent (not direct)..
We all know internally that this user is out of work! External people that don't know do not get the info.
Any help on this would be fantastic.

Hi all:
Same problem here...

The issue appeared after the update to versión 7.2.0_GA_2669.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64.
Any ideas?

Are the external messages being sent to a distribution list or forwarded from another address?

they are just from a normal account replying (automatically) back to the user who sent the message. According to our ISP they are blocking the messages. Something to do with the headers. i found an article about using mail envelopes, but decided against it as it can cause mail loops.
