Migrate from Open source to Appliance

Post by pmccrackan »

Hey guys, I'm running the Open Source edition as a personal mail server on SLES 11.1 and now I want to migrate to the Zimbra appliance.

I have done a practice move from server to server (SLES to SLES) and it all went fine, but would this be the same thing?

Thanks for any tips.

Regards Peter.

You can export/import the individual mailboxes or use one of the other tools (such as IMAPSYNC) to move the accounts to a new server.

Okay, cool. Thanks for that.

I assume these tools are available in the basic edition?

Any updates to end of beta? Last I saw was end of Q2.

Also, do you know if the Basic edition licence works on the 7 beta?

Presumably the beta will upgrade to the GA?
