I'm using Zimbra 8.8.15, and every time I log in, the "Folder" column on the mail results does not show.
I have to right-click the header of the table showing my mail and select the "Folder" item to get the appropriate column to show.
Is there a way to configure it so that this column is always shown by default?
Is there either a user option, an administrator option, or a CLI command that will let me set that?
Show "Folder" column by default in user interface (8.8.15)
Re: Show "Folder" column by default in user interface (8.8.15)
Interesting, I'm not experiencing the issue
Which patch are you running within 8.8.15?
Are you running any custom Zimlet?

We are running Patch 36.
We are not running any custom zimlets. The zimlets we have installed are:

Re: Show "Folder" column by default in user interface (8.8.15)
I'm still not having any luck finding a "setting" from the user's side that dictates which columns are shown by default.
Is there something on the admin side that will let me configure that? Or is the only option a CLI command?

Re: Show "Folder" column by default in user interface (8.8.15)
How many ldap's are you running? The data is stored within the LDAP.
zmprov desc -a zimbraPrefListViewColumns
Making the change to the UI should update this field on all LDAP servers.
I recommend testing to see if the UI is updating zimbraPrefListViewColumns
Run
zmprov ga <user@domain.com> zimbraPrefListViewColumns
fo = folder
* = unchecked
So, the following means all columns are showing:
TV:fg|pr|tg|rd|st|fo|sz|fr|at|su|dt,TV-main:se|fg|pr|tg|rd|st|fo|sz|fr|at|su|dt
The following means all columns except for Folder will show.
TV:fg|pr|tg|rd|st|fo*|sz|fr|at|su|dt,TV-main:se|fg|pr|tg|rd|st|fo|sz|fr|at|su|dt
you can Enable all columns by running:
zmprov ma user@domain.com zimbraPrefListViewColumns "TV:fg|pr|tg|rd|st|fo|sz|fr|at|su|dt,TV-main:se|fg|pr|tg|rd|st|fo|sz|fr|at|su|dt"

Re: Show "Folder" column by default in user interface (8.8.15)
We only have the Zimbra server connected to one LDAP server.
But I had no idea that those preferences were stored in LDAP. I now have a new clue to investigate!
Thanks @jhurley.
