It is very inefficient to have to either download one at a time or download and then unzip the files.
Far too many dialog screens to wade through.
Is there not a way to simply say 'Download All' and have them all be downloaded to a location?
Thanks.
Is there a way to download multiple attachments without getting stuffed into a .zip?

No, there isn't. Web browsers don't let you download multiple files with a single click.
Downloading a single ZIP and getting the files that way is not that inefficient. It's a download, and a double-click, and you're in your files in most operating systems.
