Out of RPC cache

Hello all,

We have a few users when using the calendar or scheduling an appointment they get an error message "Out of RPC cache", we haven't find what is causing it and how to fix it. Has anyone seen this error or is there any post related to this issue?
We have Zimbra 8.8.6_GA_1906 (build 20171130041047) and Windows 7 in the clients.

Hi,

I have the same problem, on my Zimbra platform : Zimbra 8.8.6 Build 1906 Network edition ; clients are on Firefox 56 to 60, on Windows 7 or Windows 10.
I can't seem to find any documentation on this problem for the current version.

The problem appears first when I copy an appointment, and then appears at every action on the calendar (create, modify, delete...)

Hi,

we still have this problem, even after an update in 8.8.9_GA_3006.NETWORK. It seems to happen when a large number of calendars are displayed.
Should we open a bug on this ?

We have the same problem with Zimbra 8.7.11 every day on many user accounts. Is there any way to fix this?

I can't really help you with this but try the following and see if it helps (or actually does anything :)):

1 In the navigation frame deselect all the calendars.
2 Select another tab e.g. mail.
3 In the browser reload the Page.
4 select the calendar view.
5 Select "Calendar" and see if it's view is normal and if the errors recurs

Whether that works or not I'd suggest you open a support case with Zimbra and also file a bug report.

Hi,

I came across this post as I was googling to see if there was a fix, I know what causes it at least on my system, the problem was found to be the sticky notes zimlet. My users are aware and prefer to have the occasional RPC error than loose the zimlet.

Don't know if this helps but thought I would mention it.

Deactivating the zimlet seems to be the solution for me too ; I don't have the problem anymore.

Thank you very much! Disabling the Sticky Notes zimlet fixes the problem here too!
