Search does'nt look deep enouph

Hi,
Our users report us a very inconvenient behavior.
They have in their mailbox a mail send by, for exemple, personn@domain.com
If their use the search by just typing doma : no resultats. They have to use the overcomplicated search by domain for getting the from:domain.com query.

How can we get something more efficient because nowadays any search in thunderbird, outlook, gmail is far better than that.

Hi, I just tried and I can confirm that searching for a substring (es. "doma") does not give any result. I usually use * as a wildcard: searching "doma*" gives me many results.

Shame on me, yes the wildcards of course. It's not the bast for basic users but very more usable than "from:" ^^ especially for french users
