Deleted emailed contacts don't get added again

Hi

I have a few users that have complained about this.
Some users wiped their emailed contacts. After mailing them again those don't get readded for some reason.

I have tried this myself with my account and I confirm it happens.
So I am wondering if this condition can be reset?

Check for an address book named "Emailed Contacts"
they're probably there.

No I confirmed this, the contacts were removed entirely.
New contacts do get added, but the ones they already have and I send emails to do not...
