Account export and importing

Hi,

Our users our exporting colleague emails (lost to pandemic, some resigned), and importing to their Zimbra account for easy reference on on-going projects and other email threads.

However, after going to Preferences -> Import/Export -> Import and trying to import the exported zimbra file, it will just show "the import has started".
But no progress report or any notice that it's working or completed. After 24hours, nothing was imported from a 500mb file.

Is there anywhere we can look at for the progress? On the user or server side?

You need to review the /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log - see if there are exceptions (grep -i exception), but in general just tail that log right after the user attempts the import, see if there are some clues.
