Hi,
Having an issue where some people suddenly have the following issue:
- Outlook stops syncing mail. It is not in offline mode. Send/receive does not do anything. No errors.

- Restart Outlook, mail syncs once.

- Repeat Cycle.
It seems to be hitting more and more people and the only way I have found to fix is to uninstall ZCO and delete profiles and then reinstall.
Has anyone run into this? We're on Zimbra 6.0.4 currently.

Have you tried moving to 6.0.6?
Can you post a ZCO log file that duplicates your problem? Hopefully, it won't span too long, so the log won't get too big.

Hi,
Can't move to 6.0.6 yet because we have to test it first in our replica environment.
I will work on getting zco logs next time the problem happens.

I have similar symptoms:



Outlook stops syncing mail. It is not in offline mode. Receive does not do anything. but Send is working (that's the difference). No errors.

Restart Outlook, mail syncs once.

Repeat Cycle.



my first user encountered this bug (sync once only) approximately in Feb.
My second user get the same pb today after a windows update and a reboot. We went back to the previous system snapshot (ie before windows update) but sync does not work neither (sync once, then failed)


Both are using seven + outlook 2003 sp3, ZCO 6.04 and ZCS 6.04


BTW, I am also using the same config, currently without any pb.
I will send you privately some logs.

The scenario was the following:


at 17:41 user A started outlook, synced once the receiving messages and after that did not receive any new messages
at 17:42 user B send message1 to user A (which did not received in outlook as mentionned just before). However, the message was available on zimbra webmail
at 17:43 user A stopped and restarted outlook, and received message1
at 17:45 user B resend message2, not received anymore by outlook of user A


PS: hours are approximate.

Hello,
as mentioned in http://www.zimbra.com/forums/zimbra-con ... post177235 I deleted .imd files in the outlook directory.
This forces a re-index of all emails and after that outlook seems to sync again.
My once-only-sync is solved. (but could not mark this thread as solved as i am not the initiator of this thread...)

The file mapper errors look bad. Can you close Outlook, try deleting the .idm file (same name and same location as the .zdb), and then open Outlook and sync. This should rebuild the .idm (id mapper) file. Maybe that will help.
Also, what version of ZCO are you using? Maybe the NO_SUCH_MSG is bug 43432, 43433, fixed in 6.0.5, but I don't really know until I know the version. May also not be this.

You should move to 6.0.5 or 6.0.6 if you can
