Contact sync from Outlook to Zimbra
No I just import contacts via Outlooks importer into Outlook and choose the pst file I've saved previously. What I don't understand is, why don't these new imported files show up the Zimbra webinterface ? Not even if I change some in one of them and save.

Obviously there's something that doesn't match up between contacts imported via pst and new created contacts.
Since everything is fine with the ones I created myself, I figured that a csv file is some of the most clean type of information.
The csv importer in the Zimbra client doesn't work at all unless you include all fields and then sort them alphabetically and then it does import all entries. Speaking of foreign letters.. forget it
The solution for Outlook 2003 on a XP is (worked for me):
1. Export all you contacts to a csv file
2. Delete all your contacts in Outlook
3. Delete all your contacts in Zimbr webclient(maybe you don't have to)
4. Import your saved contacts as a csv file into Outlook. NOT Zimbra.
That did the trick for me.
I can't figure out why things have to be this complicated. I think a lot, if not all, people who change system has a lot of mails, adresses and so on. So a proper parser/converter should be one of the first stable thing to implement. Otherwise they are running away screamming. I'm only still here because I have my solution at a friends company.

Haven't tried ZCS Import Wizard for Outlook since I didn't know of it. I thought it was something included in the connector and douldn't find it.
Read somewhere here in the forum that the importer don't import all of the contacts.
But anyway there's maybe 2 solution 2 the problem.
Now the final solution should be to make it a option during the setup of the connector.

So that would be all sorts of awesome if the importer worked with Outlook 2007...
