item couldn't be downloaded. the element contains invalid xml characters

Hello,
on two different account email from today we're getting an error regarding invalid XML characters. They are configured as zimbra connector account.
This Outlook 2016 error cause the continuous reload of all e-mails in in an infinite loop!
Do you have any suggestion?
