I'm just curious if anyone has found a good method for archiving old emails for users, to pull old messages off the server. I've seen the idea of backing them up from Zimbra desktop into a tar file, but I really want them to be able to access those old emails on their own.
They way I did at my old company (not running Zimbra), was to archive by date from Outlook. I know that I can do this with Zimbra also, but my users here would want to archive by job number, which they usually separate into sub-folders in their Outlook. I know that I can move each folder to a separate pst in Outlook, or use Zimbra Desktop to manually copy entire folders from the server to local folders, but I was curious if there was a better way. Thanks.
