multi domain

I want to reconfigure my BESX5.03 to sync devices to accounts in different domains on my ZCS7.2NE. I know it has some complications with GAL but with GALsync disabled is this doable? I did some googling and concluded that there is a supersecret entry #17026 in bugzilla which might be related but I have no way of knowing as it is, you guessed it, supersecret 
I could just try to submit an rfe and see if it gets flagged as a duplicate of #17026 but I am hoping that someone with bugzilla superpowers or just someone in the know will post an answer here. TIA.
