Unable to create or copy a COS in Zimbra 8.5 NE Admin GUI

Hi, I have recently installed an 8.5 NE for a new client, but find that I can't create or copy a COS using the GUI. If I use copy, the first wizard page comes up and then as soon as I use next, nothing happens for a while and the browser (Firefox) says that a script is busy. If I cancel the script then a progress box comes up and the COS is never created. I have finally had to use zmprov at the command line. Everything else works fine. Has anybody else had this problem?

I've tested in my lab with the version - Release 8.5.0.GA.3042.UBUNTU14.64 UBUNTU14_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.5.0_P2 and works fine.

Could you please paste us the result of the command zmcontrol -v?

Hi Jorge,

Release 8.5.0_GA_3042.RHEL6_64_20140828192109 RHEL6_64 NETWORK edition.

I'm fairly sure that the same happens on a 8.0.0 release also (another customer ), but since I didn't need to create any other COS, it didn't really matter much!

Do you know why a script is being executed on the browser to copy a COS?

Could you please try in Chrome? Which version of Firefox are you using? I will try it in my Network lab also.

The only difference is that I have Patch 2 - https://community.zimbra.com/collaborat ... /t/1135373 but is nothing related to this bug in the Patch 2.

I notice the same problem describe by msutherland in 8.5.0_GA_3042.RHEL6_64_20140828192005 RHEL6_64 FOSS edition. My Firefox version 33.0.2. but i create a COS in Chrome whithout problem
