I receive messages multiple times per day to my Zimbra admin account of the following format:
Jan  6 09:25:27 mx zmconfigd[10493]: Service status change: mx.example.com mta changed from stopped to running
That's all fine, but I finally noticed that despite the sets of messages being a few hours apart, they all reference the same event, in this case occurring at 09:25:27.  I've received the same messages 4 times in the last day. 
This doesn't seem normal.  Does anyone know how to fix this to only receive the notification once?

Jorge, I fixed the issue by clearing out log files in /var/log/zimbra.log and /var/log/zimbra-status.log

Jorge, I was receiving those emails 3-4 times a day but inside the email the timestamp remained the same so it occurred to me that if we purge the logs zimbra will not see those logs and won't send anymore emails like that. I'm pretty sure the issue lies in zimbra control tailing the log files

I stopped receiving the duplicate messages after about 18 hours. When it happens again I'll monitor it closely.
