[SOLVED] Zimbra Desktop unable to connect after 8.7 upgrade

I have a support ticket open on this, but support is taking a very long time to figure out the issue.

Post upgrade to 8.7, my Zimbra Desktop users are no longer able to connect to the Zimbra server due to SSL handshake issues. Zimbra Desktop accounts that are configured after the upgrade do not have this issue.

Has anyone else seen this? Hopefully someone can help me!

The solution is to update the Java JRE to 1.8.

I have the same problem, running on CentOS 7 with JRE 1.8 however my Tablet and Thunderbird connect fine, as does the web client.
When will a 64bit version of Zimbra Desktop be available I ask?
The error message would be attached if I was able to! I get an 'Invalid File Extension' error for a file named 'error.txt' when I try and attach it. Grrrrrr!
