Hello All!
one of my Users moved his Mails from Zimbra Account to a local Folder to archive them. After a Zimbra Desktop Client update, a xxx.tmp.xxx Folder with appeared. The Zimbra Account Mails where resynced from Mailserver. The local Folder disapeared. The tmp-Folder contains two MSG-Folders, hopefully the local Folder is there.
Now my Question, how can i get the mails form tmp to the actual Zimbra Desktop?
Best Regards
Ranger

Re: Update killed local Folders
When you move emails to local folders then those will be deleted from primary mailbox server.
Re: Update killed local Folders
That is what i would expect, and it seems, it happened that way. User moved his mails from mailserver to local folders. The Problem appears with the Zimbra Desktop Client UPDATE. After the update the local folders (and the mails inside) disappeared. It looks like the mails where moved to an external folder. How to bring them back into Zimbra Desktop Client Local Folders?

Sorry, where do you see emails which were in local folders?

Hello,
there is a Folder next to the regular Zimbra Desktop Folder
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Zimbra\ZIMBRA~1.tmp.1487669253\store\0
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop
inside \store\0 there are many mails, hopefully this are the lost mails.
