Zimbra Forums

I just installed Zimbra Desktop 7.1.4 GA and added my online Zimbra account.

I want to do the same with my gmail account, so I did "add new account", selected Gmail and added all info. After confirmation I get "service.FAILURE: system failure: SMTP connect failure"... IMAP configuration on gmail is ok. I have found different treats on the forum on the "zimbra-gmail"-problem, but I couldn't find a solution....

What is going wrong and how can we solve this? Thanks!

At home it works...

It seems network security-related problem. We will see tomorrow when IÂ’m back at the office!

Thanks for posting this reply, had the same problem and turned off avast because of your reply and viola, problem solved
