Zimbra Talk in multi server test environment - login error

Postby mgologan » Mon Oct 17, 2016 10:21 am

Hi,

This is my first post on this forum. I tried to find and apply various workarounds found on this forum. None solved the issue.
I'm seeking for support since if the evaluation of Zimbra Talk fails, we will not be able to postpone after a go live - it damages the webmail interface.

Here is the issue:

Once the admin or a user logins into the Webmail, we get 2 popup error messages in Chrome:
Your middleware can not be installed/configured properly.
Zimbra user login failed. Please re-login.

Documentation used:
The only one found is for single server: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/How_to_Install_Zimbra_Talk
Followed by these instructions for multi server: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=59812

Software used:
OS: Ubuntu 14.04
Zimbra: 8.7

Topology:
2 x Zimbra Proxy - Nginx temples modified according to the documentation.
2 x Zimbra Mailbox Store running Zimbra Talk Zimlets configured according to the documentation.
1 x Zimbra Talk dedicated server. The Jitsi Meet (jitsi-videobridge, jicofo and prosody) appears to be working partially: there is no AV communication between 2 anonymous guests while the presence works.

Code: Select all

/usr/share/ztalk/libexec/check_talk_dns.sh
jitsi-videobridge.domain.tld has address <removed>
DNS Records OK

zmmailboxd.out

Code: Select all

These are Community support forums not official Zimbra support, I'd suggest you open a support case for this problem or you can continue to wait for a reply.

If you'd like to see this implemented in a future version of ZCS then please vote on Bugzilla entries 97706 & 108168

Zimbra talk is not included in products on https://support.zimbra.com/submitcase nor in bugzilla, what is the right mode to ask support for Zimbra Talk?

thank you
