Hi

I've upgraded my 7.3.0 to 7.3.1 and:
- spelling on Windows (10 x64 Pro) works correct (I'm using Polish language)
- attachment problem still not resolved - I need to save everyone file before I can open it. It's even worse than earlier - earlier some files like jpg or pdf was opened directly in Zimbra Desktop, now I need to save this files on my disk

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. We will work on the PDF and jpg quick view before download. For the rest of attachments, as we are using Google Chrome Node Web Kit, the security system doesn't allow us to do anything like open without being saved, human interaction, if you hace chrome you will see this behavior.

We will let you know as soon s we have that problem with the pdf and jpg fixed.

Best regards

I've upgraded to 7.3.1 and my issue with the window size resetting after every start appears to still be there. After each new start of the application, the window size shrinks by about 10 to 15 pixels both horizontally and vertically. If I don't resize, eventually the window will shrink to nothing! This is on Windows 10 build 1703 64bit and using the 64bit version of Zimbra.

Can this not be fixed?

Thanks.

Hello,

I understand the issue with the Chrome Node. However, I'm having a very irritating problem where the courser does not set focus on the email body after clicking it the first time. Need to click it for the second time and make sure the courser is where its supposed to be, before starting to type.

Secondly when creating a new email or when replying to an email the email window has no "header" I have to use Alt+[Space] -> X to maximize and the resize to get the window to look as its supposed to be. Kindly refer to the below.

ScreenShot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz2yfU ... sp=sharing

Appreciate if you can fix this for us.

Regards,
Daham

My window shrinks by 16px horizontally and 39px vertically on every restart, regardless of original size or shape. Same Win10 build & ZD version as above.

William, I never actually counted the number of pixels by which the Zimbra Desktop windows was shrinking after each restart, but my guess is that your numbers are pretty accurate. I do know that the vertical shrinkage is greater than the horizontal.

But that said, it is nice to see somebody else with this problem. I was beginning to think that I might have been the only one having it, particularly after the ZD team said the problem was fixed in 7.3.1. That issue and the constant dropping of "debug.log" and "en-US-7-1.bdic" files on my desktop are the two issues that seem to need to be fixed for me. But I doubt anybody from ZD development will read this and/or offer a solution.

You can file bug reports that WILL get noticed and influence further development at https://bugzilla.zimbra.com. But it's a cumbersome process that seems intended only for the developers: You have to open an account, search for prior citings, find the exact app & version your bug applies to & choose which of the gazillion possible attributes to assign to your bug, all in the hopes you don't make some newby mistake that will invalidate your report.

Cumbersome, Bugzilla is not. Impossible it is. Created an account with the idea of making an entry, but after searching existing entries, just gave up. Could not find anywhere to specify the version of the software I was using (7.3.2 GA build 13063) so could not find anywhere to enter the bug as these problems only started with the 7.3 versions.

I give up!!

Thanks for you help.

Go to https:/bugzilla.zimbra.com click on the "New" item and the choose ZD for the product, you will be taken to a page that has a list of "Version Found" then choose the 7.3.0_ZD_Helix version and also mention the version that's giving you the problem when you file the report.
