can i configure mailboxes in exteral storage? i mean i will install zimbra server in ubuntu machine and for mailbox storage i want to use external drive or windows share.

Hi, as you can see here: https://zimbra.github.io/installguides/ ... quirements you can not use Windows share or NFS share as Zimbra storage. You need to use a directly attached disk or a SAN disk formatted with ext4 or xfs filesystem.
You can use an external NFS storage only for backups.

ok while instaling Zimbra is it required 'dnsmasq' ?

In this step, we will install dnsmasq as our DNS server. However, before installing dnsmasq, we will first need to disable systemd-resolve as it runs on port 53. The DNS server dnsmasq also runs on port 53 which can cause port conflict.

Hi, you need to use Ubuntu server 18.04 LTS 64bit. Desktop versions and ubuntu 20.04 are not supported.
