Zimbra Installation Using Internet Proxy Connection

Post by roeportnoy »

Hi,

I used Linux RHEL 7.6 and want to install Zimbra OSE on my testing server by using internet proxy connection.
All connection allowed to access external url sites including zimbra.com. But when I install Zimbra, the installation stuck and error on step this:

Importing Zimbra PGP Key
ERROR: Unable to retrive Zimbra GPG key for package validation
Please fix system to allow normal package installation before proceeding.

and when check the log, I found this error:
curl: (7) Failed connect to files.zimbra.com:443; Connection timed out
error: https://files.zimbra.com/downloads/security/public.key: import read failed(2).

Is there any correlation if the installation uses an internet proxy?
anyone know the solution

Thanks & regards,

Hello,

check your server environment variables (HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY)

Hello,

Even I'm trying to install zimbra 8.8.15 Open Source version in RHEL 7.9
And getting the same error while installation.

Can we get the solution on this.

Importing Zimbra GPG Key
ERROR: Unable to retrive Zimbra GPG key for package validation
Please fix system to allow normal package installation before proceeding.

What exactly needs to be done for this?

Can the server access the internet and download packages from files.zimbra.com? It's required for install.
