Hi all,

I had upgraded our Zimbra NE to Version 8.7.11. Now I want to test the new chat functionality with "zxChat Zimlet" Version 1.35 or with zxOpenChat Zimlet Version 8.7.10.
Adding native mailbox users to the buddy list is no problem.

But how can I create a group / distribution list to chat with multiple users within the same chat?
e.g. like within skype, create a new group add members and all members see the same conversation.

Adding a DL to my buddy list I recieved the following error:
2017-07-13 08:55:46,742 INFO [qtp1068934215-14326:https:https://<XXX>/service/soap/ZxChatRequest] [] extensions - alle@<XXX> is not a vaild account for the chat server

At the moment Zimbra Chat is just a point to point communication, so 1/1. Group conversations will be part of Zimbra Talk 2.0, which will be commercial.

It's not cool that Zimbra chat is not able to have conversation groups, one of the most used functions in chat for us.

Is it really necessary to install Zimbra Talk just for conversation groups ?

What guarantees for this product?
