MTA problem on a proxy server

Hello,
I've just installed multi-server Zimbra 8.0.6 and something is bothering me. Everything works fine, the proxy host is managing connection, MTA is delivering mail, but on the proxy host, there isn't any SMTP host open, which should be redirected to the MTA host. Can anyone suggest something, or where should I take a look.

zimbra does not proxy smtp. if you installed the mta roll on the proxy server, you need to change your mx records to point to that server
