Team, I currently have Zimbra 4.5.6 Running BEAUTIFULLY on my Ubuntu 6.06 server. I want to go to the latest 5.x train on Zimbra for some of its features so I figure now is the time to bite the bullet and upgrade the O.S. as well. My question is the order in which to do this. Ubuntu 6.x to 7.10 first or Zimbra 4.5.6 to 5.x first?? Any experience or caveats are appreciated.
Any thoughts or suggestions are also welcome.
Thanks
Paul

they are going to say 7.10 is not officially supported so stick with 6.06

Yup, the next Ubuntu LTS is 8.04
ZCS 4.5.6 > 4.5.11 > 5.0.2 is a good route.
Lots of methods, but assuming you're a smaller setup: A_Simple_Shell_Script_Method : Open Source Edition Backup Procedure - Zimbra :: Wiki

Thank you!!
So I guess it makes sense. Zimbra wants the underlying O.S. to have LTS.
I am in fact a very small deployment (Just my family)
Thanks again for the help
