Admin console server status page show stopped services
Hi All
I upgraded to 6.0.7 today and will report back on how the status page behaves itself as this is one of the things the upgrade is purported to fix.
Cheers
Simon

Simon,
did the upgrade fix the issue? I am running 6.0.7.1 and the problem is still there.
What is more, it seems to arise randomly: some days services are reported as stopped, other days as running.
No hints on how to solve it yet?

Same problem here, running 6.0.7 FOSS, since long time ago.

Having the same issue on only one of our servers in the cluster. All other servers report the proper server status.
Checked /var/log/zimbra-stat.log and it appears the one server showing down, is reporting it's status correctly via syslog.

Hi Dustys
You might find this thread interesting -
It">http://www.zimbra.com/forums/administra ... tus-2.html
It is the same theme as this one but your problem sounds closely linked to the last 3 posts in that thread. While there is no soultion it might guide you there.

Admin console server status page show stopped services
This might sound repetitive..but this is what happened with me. The stats was broken and /var/log/zimbra-stats.log on the logger server was not populating enough information from its peers. The syslog.conf on all servers to be monitored should have entries pointing to the logger server..so had to run /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsyslogsetup as root. This is after i made sure that zimbraLogHostname on all my servers is set to hostname of the logger server. You may want to check the output of 'zmprov -l gcf zimbraLogHostname' and see whats up. Hope this helps.

Hi farukh,
I don't think stats not properly displaying can cause mails to bounce or cause problems for mta in anyway. It is two different things you are facing.
Did you see anything in zimbra.log when mails were bounced?
If you have mailbox servers, confirm logger server is able to connect with them. Also Check if zimbraLogHostname is set to hostname of the logger host with this 'zmprov -l gcf zimbraLogHostname'
! i guess logger connects to other servers using ssh to get details, not sure. Just like getting cert details and mailqueue.
