Hi all,
I would like to know how long is the session when an iphone connect to zimbra.
We use the zimbra proxy to connect our iphones to zimbra. Authentication to zimbra is done on an external ldap (Edir).
When i change the password of the account on the Edir, the iphone can still access to mails on zimbra, whitout asking me for new password. I even tried to
power off the iphone, an it can still connect to zimbra, without asking for the new password...

Hi Philippe,
there's a known issue (several threads in the forum and a couple of bugs) arround this, in a more general matter: when using an external auth and changing the password, you can still log in with the old password (even with ZWC).
Try a search arround "zimbraAuthFallBackToLocal" on the forum/bugzilla, you might find some information.

Hi David,
we only encounter this when using zimbra proxy. In the lan, a change of password in Edir is effective in next login within Zwc
